The Bury St. Edmunds Branch....
of The Ipswich Town Supporters Club was formed in 1980, and is still going strong 29 years later - serving the home coach travel requirements of many members residing in Bury St. Edmunds and the surrounding villages. We have always been, and continue to be, a non-profit making club organisation.
We are proud to have transported members to every single first-team home match during our existence, and continue to do so with very competitive fares and a very reliable service.
We will be running a coach to every home match during the 2009/10 season.
Important : New Coach Travel Contact and revised departure times for afternoon kick-off matches:-
At our committee meeting held on 21st April 2009, Gloria Palfrey informed us that, as she has not renewed her season ticket, she would be resigning from the committee and therefore would be unable to organise the coach travel. We persuaded Gloria to stay on the committee as we value her input and friendship.
The new coach travel organiser, with immediate effect, is Mr Derek Piper – a regular traveller on our coach and a valued committee member. Derek can be contacted on 01284 755613.
The committee thanked Gloria for all her very hard work over the years.
We look forward to welcoming Gloria on our coach when she travels to matches on an occasional basis, as is her intention.
The coach departure times for afternoon kick-off matches have been delayed by 15 minutes, returning to their original times now that the A14 Haughley roadworks have been completed and have settled down. For details of the new times please see the Coach Times page. The departure times for evening kick-off matches remain unchanged.
