Home Matches Coach Travel
We run one coach to all first-team home matches, using Cutting's Coaches, of Brockley, Bury St Edmunds.
To book your seat on the coach to a Home match, please `phone Gloria Palfrey on Bury 704392, or if you are a regular traveller on our coach Gloria takes bookings for forthcoming matches on each coach. Home coach travel is available to members only (see membership page), or friends / family with a members match season ticket if the member in question is unable to attend a game.
Obviously due to work commitments, Gloria is available by 'phone only at certain times, so please endeavour to book future match coach seats with her in advance where possible.
Here are details of the times to contact Gloria please;
Mondays and Tuesdays: 6.00pm - 10.00pm
Wednesdays: 5.30pm - 6.30pm
Thursdays: 8.00pm - 10.00pm
Fridays: 5.00pm - 10.00pm
Please try to avoid 'phoning at weekend where possible.

Coach Fares
The coach fares for the full trip to and from Sir Alf Ramsey Way in Ipswich for 2008/9 season are as follows:
£5.50 for Adults
£5.00 for OAP's, Juniors, Students, and JS40 Card Holders.
- OAP's: Members aged over 60 on 01/08/08
- Juniors: Members aged under 16 on 01/08/08
- Students: Members in full time education providing a letter from school or college giving confirmation
- JS40 Card Holders: Must produce their JS40 card
We will be running one coach to every home league and cup match as usual. Details of forthcoming matches can be found on the coach times page.

Fuel and coach running costs - explanation of increase in fares
Due to the massive rise in fuel costs and general running costs, we have had to raise the coach fares for the 2008/9 season, the first increase for over 4 years. Cutting's Coaches have been very kind by only passing on necessary costs in our fees for this season, for which we thank Roger and Wendy very much. The committee acknowledges the necessity in their rise in coach fees due to the rises previously mentioned - they are unavoidable unfortunately.
At the July 2008 AGM we carefully scrutinised the accounts for the past season, and based on predicted coach attendance numbers and the new cost price for the coach we have set the fares for the new season as £5.50 for Adults, and £5.00 for concessions (definitions are stated in the coach section of this website).
This is a £1.00 increase on the past 4 seasons.
We believe that this increase is very reasonable based on running costs increases, and the new fares are very favourable fare in comparison to other methods of travel to and from Ipswich including parking etc.
We do hope that our current members and new members understand the need for this increase. We still expect to have to dip into branch funds slightly in order to run our service at these fees.
If we were to leave the fares at their current level our calculations showed that the branch funds would run totally dry within two and a half seasons.
Football Coach Travel - Rules and Regulations
1. Alcohol in any form is not allowed to enter the coach (governed by the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985).
2. Persons under the influence of Drugs / Alcohol will not be permitted to board the coach.
3. Persistent use of bad language, or threatening behaviour, will result in cancellation of membership and a ban on our coach travel.
4. Items which may be considered as dangerous will not be permitted to board the coach.
